Hello creative friends,
Do you get excited when you see the inspiring projects made by others?
Boy, I sure do… and I’ve been squealing with excitement with the pretty projects being presented by our Handmade Club Design Team this week.
The April kit, Boutique Parisienne is so pretty and feminine and it is wonderful to see how diverse all of the DT projects have been.
New Design Team Member
Today I’d like to start by introducing a new Design Team member, Isabelle Barbier of Les Ateliers d’IB.
Isabelle, who lives in the north of France, has been a photographer for the past decade and an avid scrapbooker and paper crafter.
Isabelle created this beautiful mini junk journal with this months kit.
It has such a delicate and feminine feel to it… I know that you will love it too.

Jennifer ~ Crafting Sweetness
Jennifer combined both of the colour palettes; French Grey Blue and the Paris Blush Pink from this months kit to make a fabulous 3 fold journal.
It’s like three mini journals in one and has numerous pretty pockets to hold ephemera, cards and tags.
I love a good writing journal and with all those lovely hand dyed papers, that’s exactly what I’d use Jennifer’s journal for.
Click the YouTube video below to see how unique this 3 fold journal is, as Jennifer explains how she made it.
Nicola ~ My Shabby Craft Corner
Nicola has created numerous beautiful projects this month using Boutique Parisienne.
First there were two pretty journals; one each in the French Grey Blue and the other in the Paris Blush Pink.
Then came the fabulous corsets…. see them all shown on her YouTube video below.
Next Nicola printed some of the kit graphics onto fabric and created these amazing cushions/pillows.
Jenifer ~ A Trace of Sparkle
Jenifer is working on another fabulous Design Team project using the Boutique Parisienne kit, but first she has very generously shared a YouTube video on how she prints and cuts the kit elements using her Cricut Design Space program.
I know lots of our members have been asking about this, so if you ever wanted to know how to use a cutting machine for fussy cutting, be sure to check out Jenifer’s YouTube video below.
There are lots more projects coming this week from the Handmade Club Design Team, so I look forward to sharing them in a few days.
