Aqua and pink are such a charming cottage colour combination, so they were the obvious choice when I designed two new French signs.
They match my GreenGate perfectly… and that makes me very happy!
I want you to be happy too…
So I’m sharing my French signs as a free printable. I hope you like them!

Both 10 cm x 15 cm (4” x 6”) signs are on the one A4 printout.
I print my signs on 100gram matt photo paper. It’s lightweight and perfect for adhering to wood or cardboard.
I cut two pieces of MDF to size, but you could also use balsa wood, which can be cut with a sharp utility knife. Heavy cardboard is also suitable.
Before I adhered the printed signs, I painted the back and sides of the sign with white paint.
When the paint is thoroughly dry, adhere you sign by applying Mod Podge to both the wood piece and the back of the printed sign. We do that, so you can easily maneuver the paper sign into position. I like to use a squeegee or old credit card to gently smooth out the paper and remove any lumps or excess glue.
[Pin for later]
When your sign has dried you can either add a wire hanger by drilling a couple of small holes in the top or leave without a hanger.
These signs are the perfect size to tuck into a cottage or shabby vignette.
They also make great gifts… and we all know you can’t beat ‘handmade with love’ gifts!
