I can’t believe it was a whole year ago that I stumbled across the blog world while checking out some very inspiring artist’s websites. It seemed that everyone had a link to a ‘blog’. After much reading of other peoples blogs I decided to start my own. I thought it would be an unique way to bring my customers right in to my studio with me so they could peek at what I was presently working on and what I was designing.
Little did I know then, that what it would in fact do was open my eyes and heart up to a whole new world of crafting friends. Becoming part of the blogland community means I can mix daily with other artists and crafters; we swap ideas, inspire, support and encourage each other. I shouldn’t be surprised then that amongst this group I have formed special bonds with some lovely gals who essentially ‘get me’. OMG…there are actually others out there who eat, sleep and breathe creativity too. I talk to these special friends almost daily via blog, email or phone. The internet has certainly made the world a very small place.
I’m enjoying blogging and the friendships it has given me. I still get a rush when I push the ‘publish post’ button to share my latest creative adventure with you. So today I want to say Thank You to all those talented, sweet and kind hearted friends who visit my blog each week by offering not one but two Giveaways.
