Hi creative friends,
The newly released Rhapsody in Pink Craft Room kit has arrived, and our Design Team has already begun creating the most beautiful Regency-inspired projects.
To celebrate the launch of the kit, Nicola and I hosted a Craft & Chat Facebook Live on March 1st, where we spent a lovely hour crafting together while chatting about the inspiration behind the collection.
Nicola began working on the cover of her elegant Regency journal while I created a soft and romantic snippet roll using elements from the kit.
Nicola’s journal is nearly finished and she’ll be sharing a full flip-through video very soon.

And here is the snippet roll I created during the live. These are always such a lovely way to use small pieces of paper, lace, and trims from a kit to create something beautifully layered and decorative.
It’s always such a joy crafting alongside Nicola, and the live was filled with plenty of laughter, creativity, and inspiration.
Nicola ~ Shabby Journals Crafts & More
Nicola has absolutely embraced the Rhapsody in Pink theme and has delighted us with a wonderful collection of Regency-inspired creations.
She began with the most charming 3D Regency ladies shoe, inspired by the shoe element included in the kit.
Nicola has such a talent for bringing paper elements to life in dimensional form, and this project is simply delightful.

Next, Nicola created a stunning 3D perfume bottle with a faceted glass ball lid.
She cleverly enlarged one of the fussy-cut elements from the kit, printed it onto fabric, and then stitched and stuffed it with wadding to create a beautifully dimensional bottle.
The finishing touches of lace, rhinestones, and delicate paper flowers make it look like a treasured piece from a Regency lady’s dressing table.

Continuing the theme of elegant dressing table accessories, Nicola also transformed a round box with a glass handle into a beautiful Regency powder puff box using papers and elements from the kit.
It’s such a lovely example of how the designs can be used to embellish everyday items and turn them into keepsake pieces.

Nicola’s final project this week is a truly breathtaking bolster cushion made with fine fabrics and delicate lace.
The central motif features the mirror element from the kit, beautifully decorated with pearls and millinery flowers.
The finished piece feels wonderfully romantic and perfectly captures the elegance of the Regency era.
It is, quite simply, Regency perfection.

Nicola’s dedication to the Craft Room continues to inspire us all.
She pours so much creativity and heart into every project she shares, and her ability to transform the kit elements into such a wide variety of beautiful creations always encourages others to explore their own creativity.
We are so grateful for the inspiration she brings to our community. ♥
Nicola will be back next week with another special project created for our Grand Spring Ball event currently taking place inside the Craft Room.
