Hi creative friends,
This week our design team members have once again amazed us with their creativity, each bringing a unique interpretation of the August Craft Room kit, Cherished Memories. From journals to organisers and thoughtful handmade gifts, the projects are filled with charm and inspiration.
Nicola ~ Shabby Journals Crafts and More
Nicola has created a gorgeous ladies’ writing journal using the papers and fussy cuts from the Cherished Memories kit, accented with beautiful snippets of vintage lace for that old-world charm.
While the emphasis is on blank writing pages for journaling, there are also lots of pretty pockets and tuck spots to keep journal cards, tags, and ephemera.

Nicola has such a gift for combining papers, lace, and feminine details in a way that feels timeless and elegant.

Sandra ~ Atelier Vintage Rose
Sandra has been working on an organiser box project over the past couple of weeks, and this week she revealed her completed wood organiser.
She painted and added lace to the box, then filled it with the most delightful handmade items: a notebook, origami dresses (made using Lisa Lause’s monthly prompt), a gorgeous beaded pin and charm, a hedgehog-fold Rolodex book for tags and mini envelopes, an origami loaded envelope, a tote bag, and a set of handmade cards with envelopes.
Sandra also shared a tutorial on how she made her beautiful cards.

This is such a thoughtful gift project, overflowing with creativity and charm… what a truly special way to share handmade stationery treasures with a friend.

Lauren ~ Shabby Chic Sundae
Lauren has created a stunning journal with a fabric cover and delicate lace details.
Some pages feature multiple pockets in both paper and lace, while others are decorated polaroid-style frames ready to hold photos or cards.
Every detail is enhanced with the sweetest roses and birds, making this journal a true keepsake.
Lauren’s eye for soft, romantic design shines through in every page.

Caroline ~ Carolee Crafts
Our guest designer, Caroline Nash from Carolee Crafts, has delighted us with not one but two beautiful projects this week using the Cherished Memories kit.
Her first project is a set of three paper tote bags filled with handmade gifts… hidden paper clips, rosettes, lavender sachets made with printed fabric, cards and matching envelopes, and large tags.

Her second project is a sweet and simple make: index card notebooks and shabby notepad holders… they are quick to make but so effective.
Both projects are perfect for thoughtful gifts to share with friends and family.
Thank you, Caroline, for sharing your gorgeous designs with us this month… it’s been such a treat to see your creativity in action.
