Hi creative friends,
This week in the Craft Room we’re stepping into a whimsical world of teacups, sweet treats, and curious characters as we introduce the April Craft Room kit, A Most Curious Tea Party.
Inspired by a playful Alice-in-Wonderland style theme, this charming collection features pretty papers, layered cakes, teacups, florals, and delightful characters perfect for spring crafting, journals, cards, and tea-party themed projects.
It’s a lighthearted and imaginative kit designed to spark creativity and storytelling, and I’m so excited to share the sneak peek video with you below.
Our Design Team has already been busy creating the most delightful projects…
Nicola ~ Shabby Journals Crafts & More
Nicola kicked off our tea party theme with an absolutely incredible life-sized 3D Mad Hatter’s Hat Diorama.

Covered in the kit papers and beautifully layered with cakes, teacups, and whimsical elements, the hat also features Alice, the White Rabbit, and the March Hare tucked amongst the details.
It’s a magical statement piece that has already inspired Craft Room members to begin decorating for their own spring tea parties.

And in true Nicola style, she didn’t just make the hat… she proudly wore it too… proving that sometimes the best creativity happens when you fully embrace a little madness and become the Mad Hatter yourself!

There’s more ‘curious’ fun to come from Nicola this month, so be sure to keep an eye out.

Sandra ~ Atelier Vintage Rose
Sandra created a gorgeous Tea Party Explosion Box using the Most Curious Tea Party kit.

The lid is beautifully decorated with a sweet tea party scene and florals, and when lifted, it reveals a stunning 3D cake covered in flowers sitting on a delicate doily.
One of the side panels includes a belly band holding tags… but it would also be perfect for slipping in a gift card, making this a lovely presentation piece for a special occasion.
Take a closer look on Sandra’s YouTube video.
Sandra’s projects are always so thoughtfully designed, with beautiful layering and elegant finishing touches.
She has also generously shared a tutorial video for making explosion boxes, making this a wonderful project to try yourself.

Agnieszka LaLoggia
Agnieszka created the sweetest set of mini Alice-themed books, each one containing a mini sticky note pad inside.

Tied closed with delicate string bows, these little books would make wonderful token gifts for friends, happy mail, or thoughtful additions to journals.
Projects like these are such a perfect blend of practical and beautiful.

Thank you, Aga, for this charming and useful idea… they are absolutely delightful.

Caroline ~ Carolee Crafts
Caroline made a beautiful set of five Alice-themed cards, each measuring 5″ x 7″.
Each card features one of the tea bag wallets from the kit, tucked behind the stacking cups topper, with a tea bag included inside.

These would make such lovely small gifts… perfect as a thank-you or just-because surprise for a friend.
