Hi creative friends,
We are well and truly embracing the ‘A Homemade Christmas’ theme in the Craft Room this month, where our focus is all about celebrating the joy of handmade gifts.
This week, I’m delighted to share a round-up of the bonus projects and Design Team inspiration that have filled our creative spaces with festive cheer.
In the Craft Room this Month
We began October with one of our most-loved projects from last year… the Hot Cocoa Box Cards.
These delightful little gift holders are perfect for warming hearts this season, designed to hold a hot cocoa sachet, tag, and sweet treat.
By popular request, I also included a new version for apple cider, which has been such a fun addition!
Next, we moved on to the print-and-cut cookie boxes… the perfect packaging for homemade cookies or small tokens of love.
Then came the adorable cocoa mug gift bags, available in both red and pink colourways, just right for tucking in cocoa sachets, biscuits, and marshmallows.
We also revisited another community favourite… the Tea Bag Holder Mini Album.
This charming little project features six pockets for Twinings tea bags and includes additional printable quotes for friendship and scripture to make your gift even more meaningful.
As if that wasn’t enough festive fun, I also shared our monthly prompt video, showing how to elevate the tags from the kit with layered embellishments, ribbons, and trims to take them from simple to spectacular!
A little reminder: The Craft Room membership doors open again in less than a month!

Whether it’s cocoa treats, cookie boxes, or a heartfelt card, each project is a reminder that the simplest gifts made with love truly mean the most.
Next month we’ll continue our festive journey with A Homemade Christmas – Part 2, turning our focus toward preparing for the holidays with pretty planners, advent calendars, menus, and table décor… all in the same soft, feminine shabby cottage style.
Until then, keep creating, keep sharing, and keep sprinkling a little handmade magic wherever you go.
Happy crafting,
Hugs
