Our talented Design Team has been busy finding imaginative ways to bring the October Craft Room kit, The Christmas Parcel Company, to life.
From a whimsical Christmas chess set to sweet little fabric stockings, and even a festive planner to keep Christmas organised, there’s plenty of creative inspiration to enjoy.

Lauren ~ Shabby Chic Sundae
A Whimsical Christmas Chess Set
Oh my goodness, how adorable is this!
Lauren has taken The Christmas Parcel Company in a wonderfully imaginative direction, creating a complete Christmas chess set featuring two very special teams.
On one side, we have Grace, the proprietor of The Christmas Parcel Company, and her delightful staff. Facing them across the board are the mischievous little mice from the midnight shift!
Lauren has cleverly transformed the kit’s characters, parcels, ribbons and festive embellishments into individual chess pieces, each mounted on its own little stand.
Even the chessboard has been given a pretty shabby makeover with soft sage green squares and delicate pink florals.
It’s such a fun and whimsical interpretation of the kit, and I love how Lauren has brought the two sides of our little Christmas story together in such an unexpected way.

Caroline ~ Carolee Crafts
Sweet Little Christmas Stockings
Caroline has been working her magic with fabric this week, creating two darling Christmas stockings using one of the background papers from The Christmas Parcel Company kit.
By printing the design directly onto fabric, Caroline has transformed the pretty holly-patterned paper into the sweetest little stockings, each decorated with one of our adorable Christmas mice.
The delicate white lace ruffles add such a lovely vintage touch, and I especially love how the little mice look perfectly at home on their festive stockings.
They’re just the right size for a few tiny treats or perhaps some special mouse-sized Christmas gifts!
It’s a beautiful reminder that our digital papers don’t have to be limited to papercrafting. With a little imagination, they can become part of all sorts of lovely handmade projects.

My 2026 Craft Room Christmas Planner
A Little Christmas Organisation, Shabby Style!
Every year, I design a special Christmas Planner for my Craft Room members, and this year I’ve returned to one of my favourite formats… a Christmas Planner Box!
Using the pretty pinks, festive florals and whimsical characters from The Christmas Parcel Company, I’ve created a decorative box filled with Christmas planning cards, lists and dividers.
Of course, our sweet little mouse Doris couldn’t resist making an appearance amongst the Christmas preparations!
I love projects that are both pretty and practical, and this one is designed to be used and enjoyed throughout the festive season.
While I’ve chosen to display my planner cards in a decorative box, they’re wonderfully versatile. Members can also use them in their own Christmas journals, planners, binders or even on a clipboard.
It’s all about making the project work for your own style of Christmas planning.
