Hi creative friends,
A little Christmas magic has arrived in the Craft Room!
October has brought a delightful new collection to the Shabby Art Boutique Craft Room, and our talented Design Team has wasted no time bringing its whimsical Christmas story to life.
Our new kit, The Christmas Parcel Company, takes us to a charming little village shop where Christmas parcels are lovingly wrapped, ribbons are tied, and special deliveries are prepared for the festive season.
Of course, behind the scenes, there’s a very busy little mouse department helping to make sure every Christmas wish is delivered on time!
Filled with nostalgic Christmas charm, pretty parcels, vintage-inspired papers, festive florals, adorable characters and plenty of sweet little details, this collection has been designed to inspire all kinds of Christmas crafting.
If you haven’t seen the collection yet, here’s a little sneak peek inside The Christmas Parcel Company.
And now, let’s see what our wonderfully creative Design Team has been making!
Nicola – Shabby Journals Crafts & More
Oh my goodness… Nicola has worked her magic again!
Using a humble crisps box as her starting point, Nicola has created the most extraordinary three-dimensional version of The Christmas Parcel Company village shop.

Every inch of this charming little building is filled with beautiful details, from the layered shopfront and opening door to the pretty flower boxes, festive signage and delicate sprinkling of textured snow.
But the real magic happens when you turn the building to the side!
Hidden behind a tiny mouse-hole entrance is a secret Christmas workshop, where the night-shift team of mice is busily wrapping presents and preparing parcels for delivery.
It’s such a delightful surprise and brings the whole Christmas Parcel Company story to life.
Nicola has an incredible gift for transforming paper into enchanting little worlds.
Her attention to detail, clever construction and wonderful imagination never cease to amaze me. She doesn’t simply create a project… she creates an entire story that you can step inside.
You really must see this one in action! Watch Nicola’s video flip-through here.

Agnieszka – LaLoggia
Our lovely Agnieszka has been inspiring the Craft Room community this month with a delightful new crafting prompt.
Aga designed a sweet little ornament-shaped box, perfectly sized to hold Christmas tags, ribbon, twine and other small crafting treasures.

Decorated with pretty elements from The Christmas Parcel Company kit, it’s both practical and adorable, and would make a lovely little handmade gift too.
Best of all, Aga has generously provided Craft Room members with a simple template so they can create their own versions.
Thank you so much, Aga, for sharing your creativity, time and talents with our community. Your thoughtful prompts always encourage our members to try something new, and I know they’ll have lots of fun putting their own spin on this sweet project.

Sandra – Atelier Vintage Rose
Sandra has certainly been enjoying her Christmas crafting, and she has already created an amazing collection of projects using The Christmas Parcel Company!
A Christmas Explosion Box and More
To celebrate the release of the October kit, Sandra shared one of her fabulous signature explosion boxes.
From the outside, it’s a charming little gift-wrapping box, but open it up and you’ll discover a miniature Christmas scene filled with adorable details, tiny parcels, festive decorations and even little Hugo hiding inside a box!

There are so many clever surprises tucked into this project, and the best way to appreciate them all is to watch Sandra’s YouTube flip-through here.
Sandra has also created her monthly kit storage envelope, a pretty set of placemats and has begun another intriguing project… a snippet reel made from the collection’s decorative papers.
I can’t wait to see how that one turns out!

Christmas Cards and Wiggle Cards
And as if that wasn’t enough, Sandra has been busy creating 20 beautiful handmade Christmas cards!
Her first collection features 12 greeting cards made using the card images from the kit’s fussy-cut collection.

Sandra has added decorative machine stitching around the edges and cleverly raised some of the elements with foam tape, giving each card lovely dimension and detail.
She then created eight adorable little wiggle cards!
These playful cards are such a fun idea, with their rounded rocking bases, layered characters and sweet dimensional details. They’re a wonderful way to turn small fussy-cut elements into something a little different.
You can see Sandra’s cards in her YouTube video flip-through here.
A huge thank you to Sandra for sharing so many imaginative projects with us.
I absolutely love how she continually finds fresh and inspiring ways to use the papers and elements from each collection.
From elaborate dimensional creations to simple, practical ideas, there’s always something wonderful to inspire our Craft Room members.

Caroline – Carolee Crafts
Caroline has kicked off her October Christmas crafting with a little inspiration from her own craft stash!
After discovering some door hanger blanks amongst her supplies, she decided to give them a festive makeover using pretty fussy-cut elements from The Christmas Parcel Company.

With softly painted backgrounds, adorable Christmas mice, festive labels and little decorative embellishments, Caroline has created a set of sweet Christmas door hangers.
It’s a lovely reminder that we don’t always need to purchase new supplies to enjoy a little creative time.
Sometimes the perfect starting point for our next project is already waiting in our craft room!
Thank you, Caroline, for sharing this fun way to combine the new collection with supplies we already have on hand.
