Hi creative friends,
While I was away enjoying a short break, our wonderful Design Team continued creating the most beautiful projects with July’s Craft Room kit, Velvet Rose Antiques.
We have lots of inspiration to catch up on this week, and as always, the girls have amazed me with their creativity and unique interpretations of the kit.
I hope you’ll enjoy taking a closer look at each of their projects and perhaps discover an idea or two to inspire your own crafting.
Sandra ~ Atelier Vintage Rose
Sandra has created two absolutely beautiful projects this month, beginning with a gorgeous one-sheet wonder loaded pocket filled with lace spools, journal cards, tags and an assortment of coordinating ephemera.
In her YouTube tutorial, Sandra also generously shares the template she uses to create the loaded pocket, making it easy for you to recreate this lovely design yourself.

Each month Sandra also creates a coordinating storage envelope for keeping her leftover fussy cuts organised, and she gives us a little sneak peek of this month’s version as well.
Her second project is a stunning waterfall journal, beautifully embellished with vintage French laces.
Inside are plenty of journaling pages, along with pockets and ephemera from the kit, creating a journal that is both elegant and practical.

Nicola ~ Shabby Journals Crafts & More
Earlier this month, Nicola and Agnieszka hosted a wonderful Facebook Live in the Craft Room, where Nicola began creating her Velvet Rose Antiques journal.
Throughout the month she continued adding to it, and now that it is complete, she has shared a lovely flip-through on her YouTube channel HERE.
Filled with pockets and tuck spots for the kit’s beautiful ephemera, while still leaving plenty of space for journaling, this journal is the perfect way to preserve treasured memories and favourite papers.

Tracy ~ A Trace of Tradition (Guest Designer)
We’ve absolutely loved welcoming Tracy back as our guest designer this month, and she has finished with the sweetest project… a delightful 5″ x 5″ diorama in a box featuring the sewing nook from Mrs Pemberton’s Antique Store.
This charming three-dimensional scene includes a vintage mannequin, sewing supplies and even tiny bolts of fabric tucked into the miniature dresser. It’s such a beautifully detailed project and would make a wonderful gift for a creative friend or a lovely decorative piece for your own craft room.

Lauren ~ Shabby Chic Sundae
This month Lauren has generously created a brand new tutorial for our Craft Room members, providing an updated guide to printing and cutting PNG and JPEG files using Cricut Design Space.
Whether you’re new to Print & Cut or simply need a refresher, this easy-to-follow video is an incredibly helpful resource.

Caroline ~ Carolee Crafts
Caroline has created a beautiful stationery box that opens from the side to reveal two deep storage pockets… perfect for holding cards, envelopes, postcards and even a pen.
This elegant project would make a thoughtful handmade gift or a lovely addition to your own desk, keeping stationery close at hand while looking absolutely beautiful on display.
