Hello New Year…. hello fresh start!
January is quite relaxed here in Australia. The summer holidays are in full swing, the weather here in the north is hot and humid and the days are long and lazy.
I’ve been off and on with busyness…. there’s been motivated bouts of Christmas clean up and re-organising décor mixed in with sneaky afternoon ‘nana naps’, reading in my hammock and taking time to plan (day dream) about the year ahead. 2019 already has such a positive vibe!!
Today I decided to tackle one last clean up in readiness to embrace the New Year, as I’ve wanted to do some moving around and re-organising in the craft room. This job is never quick, as I’m sure you appreciate with all the pretty distractions.
One of the things on my To-Do list was doing an inventory of my craft supplies.
I have fallen into the trap of buying multiples of the same craft supplies, all because I can’t locate what I’m looking for or sometimes I’ve forgotten that I already have these items.
Do you ever do that too?
In fairness, when you have a large collection of craft supplies that span many different crafts it is easy to lose track of what you have.
Soooo… as part of my New Year clean up I decided to do an itemised inventory of my craft supplies. By the time I’ve finished I’ll know what I have and where I have stored it, so I can easily collect supplies for my projects when I need them.
I thought some of you may be interested in doing your own craft supplies inventory, so I’m sharing the pretty printable I designed with you too.
You can download the free PDF Craft Supplies Inventory printable HERE.
The PDF craft supplies inventory list is in US letterhead size (8.5’’” x 11”), so if you are in Australia or UK you will need to adjust your printer settings to A4 size.
How to Convert a PDF Letter to A4
- Open your PDF file in Adobe Acrobat.
- Click on “File,” and select “Print Setup.”
- Select “A4” from the drop-down menu for “Size” under the “Paper” section.
- Click “OK.”
- Click “File” and select “Print.” Click on the drop-down menu for “Page Scaling,” and select “Fit to Printable Area.”
- Click “OK.”
Although I’ve not finished my inventory yet, it has turned up some surprises already… and many items I simply didn’t know I had!!
Perhaps I had better use up some of these items before I buy anymore!!
Happy crafting my friends.
