Raindrops on roses
And whiskers on kittens……
These are definitely a few of my favorite things….TODAY
For those of us in Melbourne we are receiving some much needed rain today. My garden has been looking so thirsty and dry so this lovely welcome soaking is much appreciated.
I dashed out to get the mail and decided to take a photo or two.
It is very relaxing sitting in the studio painting, hearing the rain on the roof and seeing the raindrops rolling down the window pane. For those with water tanks, lets hope they were filled today.
Back to work now – I have been painting cupcakes on canvases today but now I feel all inspired to paint raindrops on roses.

Beautiful photos Kerryanne, no wonder you’re inspired to paint some raindrops on roses. Crazy Melbourne weather, yesterday I had shorts and a singlet on, today winter woolies.

Such a beautiful garden you must have, those roses are divine…did you get wet taking the photos?? I love to play in the rain….as long as I haven’t just had my hair coloured, not a good look with streaks of colour rolling down your face and also very hard to convince everyone that it is your natural hair colour!!! Kiss noises speak to you soon, Linda Lilly Cottage.
