Easter has really crept up on me this year.
I kept thinking that I had months up my sleeve… and then suddenly it is down to weeks and we are eating Hot Cross Buns (I think this may be an Australian/English thing) and every shop I go into has Easter eggs.
Even though I started decorating the house, it is still so hot here in the northern states of Australia and Autumn feels a long way off. It officially started a few weeks ago, but the only hint that it will eventually arrive is the earlier sunsets and later sunrises.
Are you struggling with a new season and Easter’s arrival too?
Here are a few last minute shabby and cottage projects that might inspire your Easter decorating….

Hi Kerryanne,
I really enjoyed reading your email and the links to the Easter downloads. I love them all but was blown away by the lovely Bowl Nest and how cleverly simple it will be to make Thank you for being so generous.
Wishing you and your family a lovely Eastertime.

Dotte says
Very cute bunny… Where did you get the pattern for that sweetie with lovely painted face???
Kerryanne says
Hi Dotte, the painted bunny is one of my own designs and I’ve not yet shared a pattern for painting her…. mainly because painting fur and floating colour is a technique for intermediate level, not beginner painters and I try to keep the tutorials on SAB fairly simple. Maybe this is a pattern I should have ready for next Easter 🙂
Sally says
Yes! The bunny!! Is there a pattern for her?
Kerryanne says
Hi Sally, the painted bunny is my own design and unfortunately at this time there is no pattern available. Maybe next year 🙂
