I was pottering around in my craft room today…
When I swung around in my chair and gazed for a bit at my Christmas shelf.
Kind of seeing it through different eyes… do you ever do that?
Usually I see the room as a whole… but in that moment I enjoyed this one little space and all the elements on the wire shelf…
Like Gwendolyn, our ‘not creepy’ elf on a shelf.
And the fresh greens and hydrangeas… the fairy lights…
Paper chain made from pretty Tilda papers; some crafts just never grow old.
My favourite thing though, is the provincial Christmas stocking that was a gift from my lovely friend Vikki.
Vikki is the designer behind the brand Sew Useful Designs and she gave a tutorial for this gorgeous stocking on Simply Christmas way back in 2011.
You can see it HERE.
I hope you enjoyed this little sneak peek of Christmas in my craft room.
It will be time to change it out for a summer theme soon, as our festive season comes to an end.
