Over the past few months I have been devising and planning an exciting programme of monthly workshops for 2009. Some of the workshops are themed ‘Project of the Month’ while others are open nights for painters and crafters to work on their own projects. I will also be having interstate and guest teachers, teaching a variety of craft projects.
It has been a lot of work and I think my excitement has finally frothed up and bubbled over so I have decided ‘why wait until 2009’ – let’s get this party started now.
The Woodberry Designs Studio will be conducting three types of weekend workshops:
Pizza ‘N’ Paint Friday
Looking for the perfect opportunity to get away for an evening? Meet with other local painters or come along with a friend or two for an evening of fun and inspiration. Enjoy a supper of pizza and wine, great conversation and some creative relaxation. I’ll be there to be your creative coach, give you fun project ideas and instructions on the latest techniques. This is the ideal time to complete those unfinished UFO’s or Christmas projects.
Held on a Friday night: 7pm – 11pm.
‘Paint to you Faint’ Saturday
What could be more fun and rewarding than a whole day devoted to painting? You have 6 hours to sink your teeth into a big project or complete those last minute Christmas presents. BYO lunch – snacks and beverages provided. The laughter and fun is of course free.
Ladies Day Out
Okay, this is the ultimate Ladies Day Out!!
Spend an afternoon painting with the girls then step out onto the deck at 3pm for afternoon tea. Indulge your taste buds with finger sandwiches, cakes and pastries while sipping tea from the finest china. My version of High Tea!!
Now if we just had some gorgeous young bloke or hhmmm… a George Clooney look alike perhaps… come to massage out feet the day would be pure delight…whoops…sorry, that’s my personal fantasy [giggle].
I’m getting the workshop ball rolling with a…..
The four themes are: patchwork, vintage, pen and wash and Christmas.
And until then, I’m busy preparing for the Melbourne SFDAV Painting Fair which is in 2 weeks. Aaahhhh…life is never dull!!
Hugs,
Kerryanne

Hey Kerryanne! Oooooohhhh!! Interstate teachers – how exciting! Tee! Hee! Hee! Mind you, that card night looks pretty fun – I think we need one of those flasho video hook-up systems that you see in the James Bond movies so us interstaters can join the fun! Hope you’re intending to take lots of photos so we feel like we were ther! Bear Hugs! KRIS (Tag Along Teddies)
