What a hectic weekend it has been with so many exciting things happening. First off we had the drawing of the Aussie Artist Giveaway. The lucky winners were SUSAN @ Suzie Button and RUE @ Rues Peanut Butter and Jelly Life. Congratulations girls – I hope you both enjoy your gift boxes from the Aussie Artist Giveaway. A special thank you must go to Shann of Paint Mine Pink for organising the giveaway.
Sure they look cute…especially if you don’t have them where you live but here in our bushland setting we are inundated with them. I quite like the little ringtails with those cute little curling tails but them brushy tails that thump along my roof all night drive me crazy. They leave little calling cards all over my decking and munch on my garden. They are so tame and brazen they even wander up to my studio at night when I am working. Gypsy quickly chases them back up the tree but they only go to the first branches where they are just out of her reach….cheeky little possums!!!
Also this weekend, Kylie from A Bite Of Country Cupcakes tagged me. I have 7 questions to answer all about little ol’ me. So here goes:
7 things I plan to do before I die:
1. Travel through Europe and the UK.
2. Write a novel…I’m sure I have one in me if I could just find the time.
3. Watch my children grow up and have grandchildren of my own.
4. Work with animals.
5. Complete every painting idea I have in my head!!

4. Painting and sewing.
5. Blogging….
6. Enjoying being a mum and wife to my beautiful family.
7. Resting, resting, resting (well I am suppose to be resting).
7 things I can’t do
1. Okay…I’m not terribly good at the whole resting thing but I am trying.
2. Some people…maybe lots of people..would tell you I can’t sing!!
3. Those same people would also probably say I have no rhythm and can’t dance. Does that stop me – NO.
4. Poor co-ordination… I’m known to fall over my own feet.
5. I’m hopeless at all sports. Perhaps this ties in with the whole no co-ordiantion thingy.
6. Can’t stop talking…..[giggle]
7. Travel without getting motion sickness.
7 things that attract me to the opposite sex.
Oh boy…should I be answering this one seeing as I am happily married?
1. Eyes
2. Teeth – I have this thing about straight teeth.
3. Must be an animal lover
4. Honesty
5. Sense of humour
6. Integrity
7. Social conscience.
7 things I say most often
1. Stop fighting ….I have teenage children do I need to say more?
2. What will I make for dinner?
3. If only I had more hours in the day.
4. Really, this didn’t take me long – that one is for my students.
5. Who ate all the chocolate?
6. Gee…I’m tired.
7. I’m off to the studio!
7 celebraties I admire
Right now it is:
1. Author Debbie Macomber
2. Artist Tonne Finnager – just love her style
3. Cricketer Glenn McGrath – for his bravery after Jane’s death and for his work for cancer awareness.
4. Canadian singer, Sarah McLachlan.
5. Australian Idol….yes, my kids have got me into it. I admire these kids for having a go in such a hard industry.
6. Olivia Newton John for continuing to campaign for Cancer awareness and for building her ‘Wellness’ centre.
7. Hhmmm…I’m stuck for a seventh and I just know that once I sign off I will think of heaps. LOL

7. Raspberry bullets.
oh no..here I am at #7 and I still have more to add. Let’s just say, I like any sweet food, some savoury and no diet foods!!!
7 people I tag to do this:
Well…if you have time I would like to know more about:
1. Lucinda from Hume Cottage who I am still getting to know.

Hugs,
Kerryanne

Some lovely and interestiong things you have revealed to us all Kerryanne!! Thank you. Now for those pesky possums – my Mum (who is an avid gardener) uses Chilli spray. (mix dried chilli seeds with water in a bottle, leave to infuse, then spray your beloved plants with it) It’s non toxic for plants (and the possums should they be so bold as to have a munch!!)
A Bite of Country Cupcakes says
