and ta-da….it is a cute as pie little boy canvas.
This 40cm x 40cm canvas is jetting off to Handmade Magazine today. The girls there were desperate for a boy project for their kids special in the January issue. Apparently everyone was making girl projects and to be honest, that is exactly what I was working on too. Having 2 girls of my own I always think pretty and pink. So big change from lollypops and cupcakes all in pretty pinks to a cute little boy canvas. For those of you who would have preferred the girl one I’ll add that to my range of patterns so you won’t miss out.
You would be forgiven for thinking that all I do is Christmas projects but as you can see I still have my magazine projects to complete each month. Of course working for a magazine you have to work so far in advance because the magazines go overseas to be printed. I’m already working on next years issues and trying to nut out what I am going to do for Easter and Mother’s day….crazy isn’t it.
So I’ve had a little break from Christmas but today it is back to it. I’ve completed all my ‘Country to the Core’ Christmas projects and have them all written up ready to be dropped off at the printers. Now I just have to put the finishing touches to the Shabby Art Boutique Christmas goodies. Believe me these are all pretty (of course), pink and glittery. I guess I will be covered in glitter for the next few days…..doesn’t it seem to get on everything? I think the fairies blow it around the room….hhmmm…rethinking that – could be the overhead ducted heating in the studio. No that doesn’t sound as exciting as fairies. So I’m back off to the studio to dance with the fairies.
Hugs,
Kerryanne

Hi KA that really is the sweetest boy canvas!!! I find we do lots of things for boys and people love them but they never buy them!!! I just think that little girls get so many more pretties..dare I say that I think we spoil our little girls a little bit more with room pretties?? Or is is that we like them for ourselves…..could be! Personally I am thinking that little design of yours could be right at home at my house too!! Kiss noises have a magical heated fairy dust day, kiss noises again, Linda Lilly Cottage

Hey Kerryanne! Your Boy canvas is too, too cute – especially the puppy!!! And much more my colours than the girly pinks – what a shame I don’t have a boy to paint it for – or the talent to paint it! Tee! Hee! Hee! I bet the magazine editorial staff will drool over it big time when it arrives in their office and readers will think its Christmas! Oh, no, wait – that’s the OTHER patterns! Tee! Hee! Hee! Had a funny mental picture of you skipping around the studio (in an agressively restful sort of way!!) with fairy dust swirling around you!! Have fun and make lots of wishes! Bear Hugs!
